Hello! My name is Hy (pronounced: hee) and I'm a Product Designer with deep interests in Motion Design and emerging immersive technologies. I recently completed my Master's program in Human-Computer Interaction + Design (MHCI+D) at University of Washington and currently designing the airport lounge experience at LoungeBuddy ✈️.

Originally from Saigon, Vietnam, I completed my undergrad in Marketing with minors in Computer Science and Psychology from Illinois Wesleyan University. Prior to grad school, I was on the Marketing Analytics team at Ubisoft while doing freelance motion and web designs for educational non-profits.

With my interdisciplinary background, exposure to varied industries, and multicultural formative years, I strive to weave technical knowledge, business strategies, and human-centered principles into my design solutions.

When I'm not mapping user flows or tweaking motion curves, you can find me practicing new cinematography techniques, drinking way too many cold brews, taking hip-hop dance classes, or playing difficult indie platformer games (yes, it's a real genre).
